ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT NEWS

There are many cities and towns to visit and work, where the town square is a historical point or where a large plant brought in an influx of workers who now raise their families and shop at local stores. However, some fewer cities and towns know where the community is going. It’s interesting how communities start paving roads, and as they grow, they add other infrastructures such as bus stops and sidewalks.

Just like a healthy community starts planning its infrastructure, a progressive community also plans its economic future. If an organization wants to progress, the only way to do it is by having an economic development strategy or strategic plan where residents and businesses can view where this community is and what direction it wants to grow. Thriving communities such as Frisco, TX or Scottsdale, AZ, to name a few, work hard on their economic development strategy to build a plan and refresh it.
